Audi CEO Rupert Stadler said that the latest A1 and A3 will be equipped with a super-efficient three-cylinder engine.
Mr. Stadler told Auto Express ” In the A1 and the A3, the three-cylinder will be a standard engine in the future”. He also said that the engine will deliver a “good feeling and plenty of torque”.
No performance specifications have been announced, but the Volkswagen Polo is coming with a 1.4 liter three-cylinder diesel that develops 105HP (77 kW). Probably, the A1 and A3 will have the same power unit.
