Here are several spy photos of the 2nd generation Audi R8, which was spied during testing on the Nurburgring. The sports car boasts more aggressive exterior with sharp edges and few styling cues taken from the all-new Audi TT.
2015 Audi R8 will also get the digital TFT instrument cluster and some other interior touches from the smaller TT. It is built on Lamborghini Huracan’s platform, which means that it will be 50 to 60 kg lighter than before. The 4.2 liter V8 and the 5.2 liter V10 engine will be uprated. The transmission will be a 7-speed dual-clutch sending the power to the quattro all-wheel drive system. We also expect a smaller turbocharged power unit.
The 2015 Audi R8 will be exhibited a t the 2014 Paris Motor Show in October.
