Hoffmann Group has presented the new Livery for this year’s RS5 DTM Race Car. The season will begin on 4^th of May at Hockenheim, and this is where the 2014 Audi RS5 DTM will make its official public debut.

WCF has published a video with a 2015 Audi R8 wearing some camouflage doing some high-speed tests at the Nurburgring.

Some of the highlights include an aggressive front fascia, a big grille and larger air intakes. There are also new side blades and an active rear spoiler. At the rear, there are slender taillights and an aggressive rear diffuser housing a four-tailpipe exhaust system.

The engine range will include a 4.2 liter V8 with 430HP (316 kW) and 430Nm (317 lb-ft) of torque. There will be also an updated 5.2 liter V10 with over 525HP (386 kW) and 530Nm (391 lb-ft). Both will be connected to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and a quattro all-wheel drive system.

Other innovation will be significant weight reducing between 50 to 60 kg (110 to 130 lbs). Read the rest of this entry »

The new Audi TT sets an impressive new benchmark in the compact sports car segment: With a total weight of around 1230 kg (2711.7 lb) the TT 2.0 TFSI is once again 50 kg (110.2 lb) lighter than its predecessor. In order to achieve this goal, our lightweight construction engineers have used a hybrid-design Audi Space Frame (ASF). The front end and underbody of the vehicle comprise high-strength and ultra-high-strength steel components; the structure and the add-on parts are made from aluminum. Audi’s new LMP1 race car completed the near 10km distance through the city in a motorcade, did a lap on the Circuit Bugatti and arrived in front of the race track’s modern Welcome Center amid the applause of the invited international journalists and guests.

“I’ve been competing at Le Mans since 1997 but this was absolutely new for me, too, and very exciting,” said Tom Kristensen, who in 2006 had driven the revolutionary Audi R10 TDI on its world premiere – in Paris – in public traffic as well.

Aside from the unusual drive which brought back memories of a Le Mans era from the distant past when the drivers would arrive in their own race cars, Audi surprised the public with a new livery of the Le Mans car. While the body of the new R18 e-tron quattro was still black with red details when the car made its world debut in December, a striking color scheme now catches the eye. OK-Chiptuning has presented their latest project based on the 2013 Audi TT RS. The tuned sports car comes with styling and performance upgrades as well.

The 2.0 liter tubocharged petrol is boosted to 453HP (333 kW) and 660Nm (486 lb-ft) of torque – an increase of 97HP and 195Nm. The result is thanks to a Wagner Evo 2 charge air cooler, an ECU remap and S-tronic (DQ500) optimization.

The exterior boasts lowered suspension by H&R and a set of OZ Ultraleggera HTL wheels in size 9J x 19” ET42 coupled with Toyo Proxes tires 255/35 ZR19. Last, but not least is the carbon rear wing and the new front and rear apron finished in black. Read the rest of this entry »

Audi has presented 2015 TT, 2015 TTS Coupe and Roadster. The new models come with distinctive exterior, intuitive and comfortable interior and powerful engine range.

Outside, the 2015 TT comes with LED DRLs, aggressive bumpers and some new wheel designs. The interior boasts fine quality materials and innovative technologies - a flat-bottom multi-function steering wheel, 12-way power seats, driver-oriented cockpit, and other features. The TT will also boast standard front heated seats.

The engine range includes a 2.0-liter TFSI turbocharged and direct-injected four cylinder power nit with 211HP (155 kW) and 350Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque. 0-100 km/h in 5.3 seconds or 5.6 seconds for the Roadster. The more powerful version of the engine has 265HP (195 kW) and 350Nm (258 lb-fT). 0-100 km/h in 4.9 seconds or 5.1 seconds for the Roadster.

The engine of both models is fitted as a standard with a 6-speed S tronic dual-clutch automatic transmission. What is more, both models come standard with quattro all-wheel drive, while Audi magnetic ride is standard on the TTS Coupe and TTS Roadster. Read the rest of this entry »

HPerformance has prepared two Audi TT RS cars – matt black and white.

Both of them comes with sports exhaust system, HJS racing catalysts, bigger turbocharged and sports Hperformance suction system. There are also special ignition plugs and an ECU re-map. The result is epic – 500HP (368 kW) and 660Nm (487 lb-ft) of torque.

Other difference besides the color is Hperformance clutch upgrade with single mass flywheel, reinforced pressing plate and sintered metal friction washer for the white car and the matt black received a Stage III DSG adaptation. Read the rest of this entry »
