2014 A8 L Security meets class VR7 ballistic protection. The bullet-proof premium saloon is available with two engines and a number of upgrades.
The model has been certified by the German Ballistics Testing Center in Munich. It complies with the VR 7 ballistic protection standard requirements. What is more, the car has some areas with armor complying with VR 9 and VR 10 classes.
The V8-powered model features LED headlights,while the W12 version gets the Matrix LED technology.

The powerful 6.3 liter W12 FSI naturally-aspirated engine has 500HP (368 kw) and 625Nm (461 lb-ft) of torque. 0-100 km/h in 7.1 seconds and a top speed of 210 km/h (130 mph). It needs 13.5 liters / 100 km (17.4 mpg US or 20.8 mpg UK).
