Audi A6 L e-tron – Offer on the Chinese Market

2017 Audi A6L e-tron Front AngleWith the A6L e-tron, Audi is taking an important step toward even greater fuel efficiency in China. The sedan has been developed specifically for the Chinese market. Its plug-in hybrid drive with 180 kW (245 hp) provides for powerful performance. The model consumes on average just 2.2 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers (106.9 US mpg).

Four Audi Customer Teams in France

2015 Audi R8 LMS ultra Front AngleA new challenge with changed regulations: four Audi customer teams –- including the 2014 runners-up – will start the new French GT Championship season at Lédenon next weekend (April 18 to 19).

The Audi teams with a total of seven sports cars will be meeting two other marques in France. A modified race format promises additional suspense. The two races per weekend will be extended from 60 to 90 minutes, except for the race weekend at Le Mans featuring three 60-minute races. For the first time, three instead of the previous two drivers have to take the wheel – two driver changes are prescribed per race. The seven events on the calendar include challenging French tracks such as Le Mans, Magny-Cours, Le Castellet and Val de Vienne, plus two foreign races at Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium) and Navarra (Spain). Strong New Partner for Audi Sport

Strong new partner for Audi SportAudi Sport has a new partner in the DTM: Teufel Audio. The logo of the Berlin-based hi-fi specialist will be featured on Miguel Molina’s Audi RS 5 DTM in the 2015 season. Intensive tests at Oschersleben, starting this Tuesday, are rounding off Audi Sport’s pre-season preparations.

At Hockenheim, where the season opens on the first weekend in May, Audio Teufel based in Berlin will start racing on the DTM tracks with its logo emblazoned on the Audi Sport Audi RS 5 DTM of the Spaniard Miguel Molina. Audi Ready to Battle for World Endurance Championship TitleAudi is ready for the 2015 FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC). On Sunday, April 12, at Silverstone in the UK, the chase begins for the World Championship title that Audi won in 2012 and 2013. With two new R18 e-tron quattro cars and six successful drivers, Audi Sport Team Joest will be battling for the first victory in the new season.
A newly designed hybrid sports car, some 10,000 test kilometers, an Audi teambuilding and fitness camp in February and an initial meeting of the teams at the official FIA WEC Prologue on the last weekend in March: “Audi is ready for the 2015 season. It’ll be tougher this year than ever before,” says Head of Audi Motorsport Dr. Wolfgang Ullrich. “At the Prologue at Le Castellet, we met with our opponents for the first time in the 2015 season and were able to see that everyone is thoroughly prepared – even though nobody put their cards on the table there.
