SGA Aerodynamics subjected the flat sportster to a clear rejuvenation treatment with a complete body kit and fantastic rims. SGA Aerodynamics specializes in the refinement of premium cars and super sportsters.

For this purpose, the company – domiciled in Großbeeren close to Berlin – offers specially developed aerodynamic packages for several vehicles, which end up drastically improving the visual appearance of such vehicles. “XII GT Aero Kit” was developed for Audi R8 – a package that immensely ratchets up the visual appearance of the sports car.

The striking front with the multi-level, angular air inlets and the razor-sharp spoiler blade sends a message to opponents that are already running head that it will not be party time with the new R8. Yet the gains achieved do not end with the visual appearance alone. The down-force values on the front axle have also been positively impacted.

The clear lines are perfectly continued on the flanks through angular side skirts. The bottom line of the skirt follows precisely the edge of the front spoiler thus ensuring an absolutely clean alignment! The side panels of the R8 that are displayed skilfully lead this style over to the rear end. Air outlets on the sides and the massive rear diffuser leave no doubt on the sporty character of this R8 and also improve the driving stability.

Even the huge aero-wing on the rear flap, which additionally lends the silhouette a breath of the GT spirit is meant to serve this purpose. The new bumper absorbs the three-level form of the front air inlets once again and also holds two precisely fitting recesses for the racing exhaust system of the partner MAE Design, in readiness.

The system has one valve control that can be controlled through a radio remote control system and thus offers a sound intensity as required at all times! The modifications performed on the bodywork can look perfect only with the respective rims. Here, SGA Aerodynamics cooperates closely with the cult brand MAE Design, which in the meantime, has clearly ramped up its portfolio.

The magnificent three-part forged wheels “MAE Forged” that are mounted on this Audi R8 have the impressive dimensions of 8.5 and 12 x 21 inches and bear broad Michelin tires of the sizes 245/30 and 295/25 ZR 21! Through the manual production technique of MAE, the wheels can be precisely adapted to the respective vehicle and the result is a perfect fit without tracking plates! The height of the bodywork was adapted to the new wheel/tire combination using a fully adjustable coilover kit from MAE to achieve perfect finishing.
