Since cars are of special importance to many people, what he wanted was to produce hand-enhanced one-of-a-kind automobiles: “We have got all the required know-how, experience and passion. And there is also our customers’ demand for such vehicles, which made us run the first ABT Individual projects.“
The “Individual” programme provides a lot more than the usual ABT specialities like engine performance upgrades, body kits or suspension components. The interior can be clad with leather – smooth, back-stitched or suede, on seats, switches, steering wheels or under roofs. Individual design elements or logos can be added as well as special colour combinations. Extravagant and unique? ABT Sportsline also has the right answer for the exterior. A personal lettering on the exhaust pipes, your very own body colour, special wheel designs, customised body parts or even tailor-made engine performance upgrades are no problem.
“If you go to ABT Sportsline, you are looking for something special. And for some, even that is not enough. For this very exclusive group of customers we now have tailor-made solutions,“ says an enthusiastic Hans-Jürgen Abt. The top manager thinks that those who already have a top model – an Audi S8, RS6 or the new Q7, to be presented in 2015, say – are also those who want to individualise it even more. Or a VW Bus as an exclusive business lounge, perhaps? The selection of the basis is as individual as its later appearance. So why not a chic “Beetle Cabrio“ for your domicile abroad? After all, ABT Individual’s motto is: ”Do as you like!”
