The Audi virtual cockpit wins the Austrian Car of the Year Award in the category Safety and Innovation. The new display and operating system is the connectivity highlight in the new Audi TT. It combines the instrument cluster and MMI monitor in a central, digital unit and sets new standards with dynamic animations and precise graphics. Audi unveiled the virtual cockpit at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas in January 2014. Since late October, all Audi TT models feature the new operating system.
The Austrian Automobile Association (ARBÖ) presented the Austrian Car of the Year Award for the 31st time this year. A 61-member panel of experts chose the winners. The award ceremony was held in Vienna yesterday evening.
