2014 Senner Tuning Audi A8 Front AngleAccording to a study published recently, the Audi A8 is one of the absolute dream cars for Germans – way ahead of the Porsche 911. The Ingolstadt luxury car combines innovative lightweight technology and modern engines with luxury and absolutely top class driving comfort!

But even an A8 still has optimisation potential, as Senner Tuning from Ingel-heim near Mainz impressively proves with this 4.2 litre V8 model. The stand-ard wheels were exchanged for beautiful Oxigin14 Oxrock rims in the “Black Full Polish” finish, in the impressive format 10×22 inch all round, with Conti-nental Sport Contact 3 tyres, in the dimensions 265/30R22. For the lowering of the standard air suspension, Senner uses a DLC lowering module from KW. Thanks to a WLAN module, the lowering of the air suspension can be individually adjusted using an iPhone app.

Ex works the A8 with 4.2 litre V8 spoils its owners with a fat torque of 445 Nm, and a power of 321 HP. But once again, Senner Tuning found op-timisation potential and increased the power using engine characteristic op-timisation to 397 HP. At the same time, the maximum torque increases to 477 Nm. An interesting side effect: in spite of this additional performance, the A8 uses on average between 1.5 and 2.0 litres less petrol per 100 km after the performance increase! The performance intervention is rounded off by two new sport air filter inserts and a power converter. The exhaust gases are processed by an in-house stainless steel exhaust gas system incl. pre-silencer with a 100 mm end pipe to the right and left. Of course the exhaust system has an EU operating permit (ABE) and produces a wonderful V8 sound!

Finally, the Ingelheim tuners provided the luxury car with red painted brake calipers and LED number plate lighting. The conversion costs for this Audi A8 are approx. € 9,500 incl. VAT
