The upcoming 2016 Audi A5 will have a lot of interesting features and upgrades compared to the current model, which was presented back in 2012.
According to Car & Driver, the redesigned model will have an evolutionary and stylish exterior with sportier cues and other aggressive features. It can be equipped with LED headlights and a futuristic interior with a head-up display.
The 2016 A5 is expected to ride on the MLB Evo platform, which is lighter and more efficient. The change could save up to 90 kg (200 lbs), which will improve the performance and agility a lot.
Nothing is mentioned about the engine range, but probably there will be a new one with upgraded 2.0 TFSI and a supercharged 3.0 liter V6. The RS5 will probably get a twin-turbo 4.0 liter V8, instead of a naturally-aspirated 4.2 liter V8.
The 2016 Audi A5 will be presented in the early 2015.
